Sending emails from your own address
Turn on customer email so quotes and invoices come from your business, not a no-reply address.
Why turn it on
With customer email on, quotes, invoices and reminders are emailed from your business name and address, and customer replies come back to you. Until it is on, you can still send quote links by text message.
Open the email settings
Go to Settings › Email & SMS and choose the Email tab. Switch on Enable email sending.
Sender details
Enter the From name customers will see (usually your business name), the From email, and a Reply-to address if replies should go somewhere else.
Choose a provider
Brevo API: create a free Brevo account, verify your sending domain or address in Brevo, then paste your Brevo API key. SMTP: use the outgoing mail settings from your email provider (for example Google Workspace or Microsoft 365): host, port, username and password. Many providers ask for an app password rather than your normal one.
Test first, then go live
Leave Sending Mode on Test and enter your own address as the test email. Every customer email is sent to you instead, so you can check how it looks. When you are happy, switch Sending Mode to Production.
Email allowance
Customer emails count towards your plan’s monthly email allowance. You can see how many you have used on the Billing page.
